In which markets is printing on aluminium required?
Aluminium printing is in demand in the flexible food packaging market; in particular, for the closures of coffee capsules or yoghurt containers. In both cases it’s advantageous to be able to print the lids to brand the product without having to resort to excess packaging.
IPS Industrial Packaging Solution can supply printed lacquered aluminum for both the coffee market and the dairy products sector. It produces chemically degreased and pretreated aluminum sheets for different types of disposable capsules both in plastic and totally in aluminum. In addition to being printed, the lids can be embossed according to customer requests. For the closures of yoghurt containers, on the other hand, IPS can supply three different types of primer – nitrocellulose, solvent or water based -, all of which can be customized with different types of printing.
Pharmaceutical market is another sector in which aluminium printing can be requested. Also in this case, IPS can supply aluminum foils for pharmaceutical blisters which, in synergy with cold printing, ensure complete protection of the product.
