According to a research conducted by Euromonitor and reported by EAFA (read the press release), since 2012 the wine producers have increasingly preferred aluminium closures. Currently, the 30% of the global market of bottled wine uses aluminium closures.
The report demonstrates that “aluminium closures are continuing to show strong advantages over other wine closure types”, as said by Guido Aufdemkamp, Executive Director of EAFA and among the promoters of Turn 360° Campaign.
